Education and Awareness play an important role in progressing toward equality for the LGBT community. In this 21st century, there is no role for discrimination, and one should stand for another. The community stands for unity among the general public and education from the basic level helps to achieve this. Children have to understand what equality means and how they can contribute to this society to tackle the problems.
- Education and its importance
Children are the future of tomorrow, Proper education can create a society where equality is present. The LGBT+ movement helps young people not to feel isolated, or even unwanted in school. It helps them feel that their identity is "normal" or it is not to be brushed under the carpet. Making the new LGBT- inclusive education compulsory opens up a positive discussion around these identities and creates a more supportive environment for all LGBT+ young people to come out into.
- Awareness among the public
Awareness or training lessons should be given to the public to make sure that the community stands together for the LGBT+ movement. We have to make use of social platforms that can advocate the rights of LGBT people in society. This topic has to be brought up to the people and maximum advantage has to be taken up in the public space available. The problems faced by the community can be addressed on these platforms which will enhance the movement.
